Try as I might even with the words in front of me I did have difficulty hearing them - of course on occasions I did match up a word with what he was singing.

Odd. I could hear every word clear as a bell. Haven't a clue what more than one in twenty means, but I could match them up with the text, no problem.

I think it is called deafness - the kids are always on my case to get an hearing aid but that is one thing that one never really admits. There is no denying when you can´t see but with hearing it is always someone else’s fault.

They mumble, whisper or don´t enunciate I am beginning to give up the fight and admit my hearing needs a little help.

Not much though :)
