We've had weddings (two), illness (kids), a seperation, and a death in the family (Al's brother's son),...plus the late move to FL because of "Stuff".
We are getting settled now, and I've been busy making Christmas presents for the girls in the family. Handbags/Pocky-books. I don't have a good place to sew here, so it's a challenge. I'm using the dining room table and the laundry room, so it's a lot of traipsing back and forth and my body is hurting from leaning over stuff that is not the right height for sewing. It's hell to get old,...but only Cardy and me know this,...(I never know if it's "me or I, as I'm too old)...ahem.
I'll try to keep in touch more often and hopefully get som of my typing skills back.
I hate the news, and am disgusted with everything that is going on, and if it wasn't for my sunny personality, I would have gone into deep depression. Do I need a S/tag here? Nahhhhhhhhh, you all know me better than that. Ahem! Hope you're all well and in good humor, (like me) and you all had a nice Thanksgiving and are planning on having a great Christmas too.
I have to decorate the tree today. I hate our tree, it's small, but every year I thank goodness that it is, when I start taking it down. ;) Love, Gran

So,...it sounds like you're getting some winter there. When are you two heading out to better climes? It's been lov-er-ly here. Cool nights, warm days, which suits me just fine.
I have the decorating all done, so now it's time to get at the cards. (I'll make Al help me with that part.);)

WOW! Can you stand it?!
It snowed all around south Louisiana last night and this morning and we've had a ball all day long. We had between 2-3" here other parts of the state had up to 5". New Orleans even had snow. I tell ya, its a hoot seeing children use innertubes for sleds on the levees. LOL We've also seen some very creative snowmen and snowwomen all over town. Sadly, its mostly all melted now. Its slushy and ugly and just really cold outside for this part of the country, 33 degrees.
Tuesday it was 75 and humid, yesterday we had tornados in the state and today its snow. This global warming is sumpin else!

OMG!! 2 - 3 inches? LOL!! Hope you enjoyed it Darlin’. That is a “skiff” where I come from. Anyway, we are in for a “dump” tonight or tomorrow. I hope it’s tomorrow. I did see on the news this morning that you got snow in LA and thought to myself, I bet they are all lookin for long jonhns!! FOLFL. CO
