Don’t go back without posting a couple more times. Good to hear from you Miss Ringy.
I think that it's so dry out there in Utah, they just couldn't get excited......
*Waves*
Vandy rocks. I think they’re my favorite sports story this fall so far......
Do you realize...
They are now 5-0 for the first time since 1943 during WWII? They only played five games that year due to military camp.
With the win over Auburn on Saturday they are now 3-0 in the SEC for the first time since 1982.
While they are last in the SEC in both total offense and total defense, they are tied with Pittsburgh for the fewest penalties in the nation?
They have not been intercepted but lead the SEC in both interceptions and sacks?
The stadium was jam packed with deliriously happy, cheering fans. Many held signs that read, "Geeks Rule" LOL. They stayed in the stands after the game until finally the team came back onto the field for a "curtain call" of sorts.
This is great stuff!
OMG......this means I'm talking to a geek.......
:-)
YES! Aw, I loved that. :) Gosh, what was her name? Vicky? Think so. Anyhow, she portrayed the adage...
"One shoe can change your whole life - Cinderella"LOL
"Make certain they are of a height that flatters your leg and will be comfortable for you. No sense in wearing high heels you cant walk in."
Indeed. The silliest thing in the world is a woman teetering on heels that are so high she is forced to inch along using her arms for balance just to stay upright while crossing the floor. Starlettes on the red carpet are some of the worst offenders.
So sorry. ROFLOL."
FOFLOL I'm just so grateful you were talking about shoes this time instead of undies. :) LOL
LOL I see your Heads Up became a moot point.
LOL We’re talking about a campus is best known for academics. The stadium is so small it sorta looks like one at a big high school when compared to others in the SEC. A sold out stadium is usually the result of a visiting team.
MERCY! John McCain is blasting, absolutely blasting Obama at a rally in Albuquerque. The crowd is loving it and soooo am I. WOW!
And it's about time he followed Sarah's lead.......
Exactly! She has her own style and it works for her. I'm just happy that she wears skirts, is able to show her legs and is able to highlight the fact that she actually has ankles, trim ankles. LOL
I hear ya bout following Sarah’s lead... she stuck to her guns today, remained unapologetic about her statements on Obama hanging out with a terrorist.
A carefully ducked question.....? ;0)
*Waves back*
K, g’friend... been dying to tell ya... I’m going to a fundraiser in a little while ... no news to that right... “ For whom is not such a big deal because the candidate is so over shadowed by the guest of honor, our very own Dick Cheney. LOL
*Feeling sheepish*
Things are pretty good up here, it was kind of a cool summer and so far this fall it remains the same. Life is great in spite of the non arrival of global warming to the Midwest.
I'm glad that things are pretty good and life is great.
Just finished checking my FReepmails, I'll see you again tomorrow or the day after.
*waving goodbye*
Es
Well, I’m a little bummed.... The fundraiser was set for 6pm. Vice President Cheney arrived at 5:50pm, made a few brief, very brief remarks to the room in general, chatted briefly with the hosts, the candidate, shook some hands and was gone by 6:25pm. Sigh. He looked wonderful. Very healthy and happy looking.
