Hi guys, I just got back from a surprise get together with my SIL and daughter. I was expecting him back from London sometime today or tomorrow as he was picking up his new car in London and then driving to Spain. He did not have any keys with him so he called me to open the garage and when he arrive he had Jane with him.
She had surprised him in London when he returned from Malta. She had decided she would not let him drive all that way by himself, so she took a flight from San Francisco to meet him in London and be his co-driver for the two day journey back home.
Anyway, she took six days off and will be going back on Monday. It had been a year since she was here as the last two times she flew straight to Malta.
I will have breakfast with them tomorrow.
With peers like this what is a Frenchman to do Derly?

Oh I will not interfere much with them - I think the best place for a parent is to let them alone.

After driving a thousand miles it is late - for me it is not. One or two in the morning is my usual but tonight I will not stay up so late.

Yeah, all that mileage would wear me out,too. But I’ll stay up with you and keep you company tonight, Cardy. We can watch a few episodes of Father Ted if it’s not too much for you. :)
