This is the best one for the ladies, Cardy! Thank you for sharing. We will take Valentines (or love) any day of the year, won’t we girls?

Anybody else noticing that the number of new posts the pager shows just adds new ones without removing the old ones? I’m not liking the “upgrade.”

My daughter and her husband in Malta have bought 100sq ft. of the only space left in the garage to build a storage room for themselves. Imagine 100sq ft of nothing for $19,000. Of course, I have sticker shock but what do you guys think?

Here is the plan I made for them, all the numbers are in cm:

I know, sweets! There is no way to tell if you have read a ping or not - and you can’t delete them. I’m not too happy with it, but perhaps John isn’t done with his ‘hammer’ job, yet.

At that price, I’d get a teak work bench and glass shelves. Hardwood floors, surround sound, and some cherry wood veneer to go on the closets. Recessed lights, a recliner by the far closet, a rolling cart with tea service that fits beside it, a 40 inch TV that can be lowered from the ceiling, and maybe some artwork for the walls. Make it worth it.

Hi, sweet. I agree, not too happy with the “upgrade” so far.

Now, that’s what I call a ‘good use storage space’. (You wanna come ‘organize’ my garage?) ROTF!

Thanks. I've been to Sephora in various cities and shop with them online but I'm really looking forward to finally having one here. We're also getting an Ulta store, which is similar to Sephora. With those two plus all the neat spas that are just chocked full of every imaginable product I see a real potential for financial ruin. LOL

Looks like Pure Radiance has a slight peach tone. I can wear peach tones but I think I'll sample a couple of other shades, too.

Her husband thinks he is going to put a zodiac boat and his car roof container, paint and all sorts of stuff and thinks he will be able to do some real work there - while Jane want to put clothes and her treasures.

I hope they have thought this through. I think he will have to look for another place for his junk!!!

I wonder how much a divorce will cost? :)

Oh I have another plan - storage for Jane´s stuff along all the walls and zip, nada for poor Isaac.

Maybe a air bed for him - lol

"... Imagine 100sq ft of nothing for $19,000. ..."

Blink, Blink. :) See, I tole ya, that happens when they build on every little inch (or rather, cm) of that little island. LOL

Actually, I have friends who've paid tens of thousands of $$$$ for a parking space in large U.S. cities and others who shell out big bucks every month to lease a parking space. So, I guess it all depends on how much they need tha storage room LOL

Hi Darlin’, I was just a little overwhelmed with the price but they do say for parking spaces and other very small lockups that is the going rate nowadays.

I just talked to Jane and she told me that she would not need closets just shelves as they are going to put all junk down there - so she is not going to have anything to do with it.

It would be high for my area, although I’m not sure it will be in 2-3 more years. We’ve been experiencing a building boom, almost entirely upscale and real estate cost are rising with every new building. TNDs have captured everyone’s imagination and I expect expensive parking spaces will follow.

Of course what makes it much worse is they price in Euros and €12,000 is about $19,000 these days.
