Call me a sell out or whatever but in this day and age with all in front of me I am voting for McCain because he can win and keep hope alive.
Too darn bad about your local economy. What part of illegal don’t you understand? If the business needs illegals to survive, then they should go under like any other law abiding business would.

He causes lots of misery for us and unless he is what we are stuck with, I most certainly will not vote in the primaries.
Best thing that could happen if he is the Republican is he gets Thompson as VP and then dies soon in peace from natural causes (not bad for Republicans or conservatism at all)
Unless Hunter or Thompson return I’d say go for the only candidate still in the conservative camp. That would be Romney, a moderate. Not only McCain but Rudy and Huckabee are so liberal as conservatives they might as well be Dems.

Look, I love FreeRepublic and have visited it daily for years. I came here looking for answers. I like many others have struggled over supporting McCain and that is why I guess I made this post. Sway me. I am very open minded and want to hear all the facts and I hope I can get them here instead of rhetoric.

I’m skeptical of any buisness model based on law breaking.
I think these farmers are unwilling to pay the market rate for their employees. So they exploit the illegals.
McCain has a lot of appeal to democrats and independents. Republicans, not so much.
