ATLANTA (AP) -- Georgia football legend Herschel Walker is expected to reveal in an upcoming book that he has multiple personalities -- a revelation that surprises the man who coached the 1982 Heisman Trophy winner.
"That's all news to me," former Georgia coach Vince Dooley said. "All I know is whatever personality he had when he had the football was the one I liked."
"Breaking Free" will chronicle Walker's life with multiple personality disorder, according to Shida Carr, the book's publicist at Simon & Schuster.

News of Herschel Walker's personality disorder took many of his close friends by surprise.
Not sure if you wanna add to NFL list but thought this was interesting. Anyone who followed Walker during his career knew he was very, very unusual. This goes a long way in splainin it.
I saw the disorder in Knoxville in September of 1980. The first half of the game Walker sat on the bench and Tennessee was opening a can of whoop arss. The second half Walker cut through the Tennessee defense like a hot knife through butter and Georgia won the game. I had heard of coaches keeping an excellent back under wraps before but never a whole half before letting him loose and this was the first time I had seen it in real life.If you ask me the entire Georgia team had different personalities from the first to second half.
He was definitely a different guy. Not Ricky Williams levels of different, but different nonetheless.

Sounds like you could have saved Hershel years of heartache and exhaustive self-searching as a wannabe FBI Agent, Ballet Star... with a timely diagnosis.
Herschel Walker, the man who was instrumental in Dallas’ three Super Bowl wind in the ‘90’s.
Hope the Cowboys haters don't see that typo...you might never hear the end of it! But on point, yes, he/they was/were crucial to the 90's dynasty.
wind = wins.
Thanx Dysart for pointing that out.
And I’m afraid Knowshown Moreno will be doing the same to SEC defenses for at least one more season.
I can’t wait for that guy to turn pro.
