OMG! I’m still burning up over that speech...

I said way back in the Hussein live thread that the MSM would call him the second coming of MLK.

Damn, if I wasn’t like Rush 10 minutes after the speech ended.

It's too choppy, rushed. He sounds okay in parts, but weak in others.

Randy: Wasn't one of your best performances.

Paula: You're using ear monitors for the first time ... effects how your sing.

Simon: Long and short of it was, it was a mess. The song went all over the place. You have got to start sorting yourself out. That was not good enough. Sorry.

Seacrest asks Paula to explain the ear monitor comment.

While she's doing that, Ryan inspects Michael's ears. He's not wearing any monitors. So they can't be blamed for his mediochre performance.

Simon: That's embarrassing.

Michael drops the sympathy bomb: He sang this song for a friend that died last year.

Paula: Aw, sorry to hear that.
