That said, I doubt I’ll be posting much early on. I’ve been very disappointed in the “audition” episodes the last couple of years — they spend too much time making fun of the bad auditions, and not enough time showing us the potential contenders. By the time you get to Hollywood, you don’t care who gets cut because you’d never seen them before (for more than 5 seconds, if that).

So, I’ll likely be skipping or glossing over the episodes until the final 32 unless the focus changes.

They way the folks at Idol talk, they're going to change that this year. We'll see.

That is exactly what I did last year because the season before that I was so frustrated with their endless bad shows.

But I will watch it tonight because I notice it is on at the same time as the horrid Biggest Loser. I watched Biggest Loser last season and I’m trying to stick with it this season but I have officially definitely completely HAD IT with crying, blubbering contestants. Somehow the producers must encourage that that sickening nonstop crying.
