Thompson/Hunter I can picture neoliberals wailing and gnashing teeth over that combo. Strong, certain, intelligent, witty, confident, real, father-figure men. Anathema to a neoliberal.

Same for the McCainiacs. The Hucksters remind me a lot of the Bushbots back in 1999 trying to convince us all that “compassionate” didn’t in fact mean “liberal”.

McCain is no conservative, not by any definition of the word that even Bill Clinton could conjure up.

Who would be your #2 VP pick if Hunter weren’t available?

Who would be your #2 VP pick if Hunter werent available? Maybe Tom Tancredo. None of the other candidates.

I didn’t like Tancredo. He didn’t bring anything to the table. Hunter brings the possibility of California.
I like Petraeus and Bolton for reasons of “exciting the base.”
I think Santorum puts Pennsylvania in play.

Wouldn’t “CINO” be more appropriate?
***Yes.
And if FR has no affiliation with any party, why presume to claim what a Republican is and is not (RINO)?
***True, it is presumptuous. Is it equally presumptuous for republicans to come onto this website when they don’t agree with JimRob’s definition and try to change it?
All valid questions, I think...don’t you?
***Yes, thanks for at least thinking through this rather than generating kneejerk reactions.
