RDU police were doing routine checks in the back parking lot of the hotel around 2:30 p.m. when they spotted the black Dodge extended cab pickup. Police called Morrisville PD and contacted investigators in the Raleigh area who were able to confirm the vehicle did belong to the wanted Marine.

FBI officials already searched the hotel for Laurean but didn’t find him. Officials don’t know how long the truck has been at the hotel.

A front desk clerk NBC17 spoke with said she believes the truck had been there for “about 3 weeks”. She adds that she parks in that back lot everyday.

Am I nuts? (don't answer that question) Or does this article say that the officials don't know how long the truck has been there, but IN THE VERY NEXT SENTENCE the reporter asks the clerk and the clerk says.... three weeks.
