I have never heard the shoe was Maria's from anyone else. I don't think it's ever been said whose shoes they were. Here's a picture of the shoe found outside. The shoe has blood on the sole; the laces don't look bloody. How would Maria get blood on the bottom of her shoes after she died? The only way would be if she didn't die immediately and walked around. However, you'd think the blood would be on the laces from any on-going bleeding, as well. I can't tell what size those shoes are. Maybe a comparison of shoes with other objects in the picture. Pics are around

I enlarged that shoe until it was humongous, and it definitely looks like blood to me. Reddish/brown. Those globs of hair look like dog hair. I would think that there would have to be something sticky (like blood) on the shoe in order to make the hair stay on the sole.
