416 = Toronto, 414 = Eastern Wisconsin, 484 = Pennsylvania (overlay 610). 419 = Northwest Ohio, maybe? Dayton, Ohio is near where Maria's parents live. That prefix is 937. Well, those make no sense. Maybe the phone number was not supposed to make sense. It could have just been a cover for why the car was sitting there for so long.

I think Jacksonville Area Code is 910. I guess that could be a 910, but that wasn't my first impression.

A bit more about the shoe as evidence. This makes no sense to me. Maybe the reporters got another piece of the story wrong. It wouldn't be the first time. From Attorney: Sheriff?s Office Didn?t Have Permission to Tour Laurean Property
