"The woman, who left the Marines in December, described Laurean as well-trained to adapt to his situation."

One wonders why he was given a job behind a desk.

From the Jacksonville Daily News:

The truck belonging to an Onslow County fugitive and abandoned in Morrisville has been brought back to Onslow County.

Investigators with the State Bureau of Investigation, Onslow County Sheriff's Department and Naval Criminal Investigative Service are processing a black 2004 Dodge Ram pickup for evidence they hope will lead them to murder suspect Marine Cpl. Cesar Laurean. They started going over the truck at 8 a.m. today "at a secure location" and expect to finish this afternoon, according to Capt. Rick Sutherland with the Onslow County Sheriff's Department.

Sutherland told reporters that investigators had recovered forensic evidence from Laurean's truck, but he would not say what that evidence was.

Because, whether tinker, tailor, or candlestick maker...they're all Marines first, no matter what.
