January 11, 2008)--Authorities in North Carolina said late Friday morning pregnant Marine Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach is dead.
They said she’s buried in a shallow grave, for which investigators are now searching.
They identified the suspect in the case as a Marine officer whom she accused of sexually assaulting her.
Police earlier were planning to interview a man who lived with her and said he would answer questions that "will shed a lot of light on the case."
Authorities said again Friday Marine Sgt. Daniel Durham isn't a suspect, but police believe he's the last person to speak with the Marine.
She disappeared Dec. 14 ahead of her expected testimony in a military investigation into her claim a senior officer had sexually assaulted her.
Court documents show the investigation went sour amid inconsistencies in the woman's story and allegations that she's bipolar and a compulsive liar.
Search warrants show she was facing a possible discharge from the service.
Lauterbach was eight months pregnant when she disappeared.

LOLOL....I think he just made up a word! They were talking about the Stacey Pederson (sp?) case and they were discussing a release from the Illinois LE officials. He was going to explain their “phraseology.”

Caught my attention on the 8:30 am remark also.
He was interviewed many times earlier on other shows and claims that his wife was walking the dog at 6:30 am and he (CL) was leaving then....what is it 6:30 or 8:30? Her routine was to walk the dog every morning at 6:30, the kids getting ready to get bus and he getting ready for work. Sorry, I don’t find anything they say worth much. She even asked Shepard on FOX news the other day when he phone interviewed her “has he been caught yet”...lol, the look on Sheps face, like Where have you been?
Why did Christina and cesar use private attorneys? Why didn’t they have jag attorneys?
For example, when a couple seperates in the military world there is a race to base legal. Once one locks on base legal the other has to go out in town.

Who is the person that the DA is going to a grand jury to get an indictment? Is it Cesear or Christina?
Did they show actual visible blood stains on the garage walls? IOW, would Christina have seen it if she looked?
Did they indicate how soon he would have burnt her and why neighbors didn’t notice smell?
There were VISABLE blood splatters on the wall. Some smears as well. YOU WOULD NOTICE THEM.
The time line is still a mystery. They can’t figure out if she was killed the 14th why he was shopping for things at Lowe’s the 16th....meaning where was Maria during that time. Yep, that's still a question mark.
