At my polling place this morning, a Ron Paul supporter tried to hand me a Constitution. I told him I was insulted. He asked why.
The word “posterity” means exactly the same thing that it did on the day the Constitution was ratified.
Supportive hug and a fundraiser for weather.
I agree with you. No Constitution in history has lasted forever. 200 + years is pretty good I think. If we want one for our own, we’ll have to fight for it, and I don’t mean violently.
So a complete stranger makes an incorrect assumption about you and you're insulted?
BTW: It is no wonder he is assuming the average man on the street is not familiar with the Constitution, as most are not.
The real offense, IMO.
That is a very foolish statement.
Do not try that activity in my presence, sir, for I have taken an oath to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.
If it was a party caucus, then that is what is done there.
Perhaps the title of your vanity post should be “Constitution offends Freeper”
You might be biting off more than you could chew. And I am no enemy of the state.
Do not try that activity in my presence, sir, for I have taken an oath to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.
Looking back at what you wrote it appears yours is the foolish statement. Unless you go around eating garlic and plan on breathing in my face, what it sounds like you want to do would be assault. And if you would do that your a fool. I hope you didn't reproduce.
