Well, in a few hours, a few LSU folks will recall with dread the name Greg Frey. Yep, the Buckeye quarterback no one remembers but die-hard Buckeye and LSU fans. The quarterback who led the team to one of the most spectacular comebacks ever witnessed at Ohio Stadium.
As Wikipedia puts it: On September 24, 1988, he rallied Ohio State from a 33-20 deficit in the final four minutes for a 36-33 victory over the ninth-ranked LSU Tigers.
I was at that game in the shoe, urging all the fans who were leaving early to stay put. It was gratifying to see them pour back in as the miracle comeback unfolded. When Bobby Olive made that flying catch in the end zone for the win, I distinctly remember sharing overwhelmingly jubilant joy with thousands of other Buckeyes around me.
The LSU fans who shuffled back to their cars were morose indeed .... it's a long long drive to Louisiana from Ohio. These same fans are now hoping for a dose of that gloom to be heaped upon the carloads of Bucknuts on their way back home from the Dome tonight.
I have some advice for Tiger fans: don't buy the extra beer for the party after the game. The spirit of Greg Frey is with us still.
OSU over Tigers, 24-21.
There are 11 teams in the big 10 {must be some of that “northern” math.}
Those are buckeyes symbols for all the team victories that they remember and honor. Could the next team buckeyes victory symbol be earned tonight?
Can you please get a list of the Big Ten teams where a team number 11 shows up please. Thanks. :)
Or weither OSU could be the faster team then LSU.
Did they get a sticker for Kent State, Akron, Bowling Green, Slippery Rock?
Count them-—11
True, they played well, but OU played poorly. It really wasn’t a game at all. Rumor has it that the OU team was suffering from a case of massive ego. Some felt the game wasn’t worth the effort, and some were more interested in avoiding injury that would derail their possible NFL career. Can’t say that I blame the ones looking to their career. If a player goes out with a serious injury in a college game, all he gets is a pat on the back. The system needs revision.
If they played against those teams and won, it would most likely be yes.
The whole bowl setup does.
SC would beat either team like a Red Headed Stepchild

If you check my homepage, I've got the 2008 PGA schedule listed.
Just did a count and you were right, there are 11 teams.
But it's so great to watch a big game when you don't have anything invested (emotionally or otherwise). I really don't care who wins here, just that it's competitive.
Georgia would whip either team like a rented mule! USC {west} too.
I do not have a dog in this fight, but it is fun to watch. :)
That happened a few years back, I thought it was weird but they kept the big ten name.
There needs to be at least an & 1 game.
Go Ducks
There is also a Sunni mosque about 2 miles south on the other side of the highway but it spells nothing (but trouble).
Here are the top ten reasons why either team could win, thanks to ESPN.

Buckeyes are stinking fruit...at least so say the indians who named them.
