Is Microsoft.
ASUS is angelic by comparison.
I have products from both.
I am likely to buy more ASUS products.
I would like to NEVER buy any more MafiaSoft products.

Intel discovered this fact when the company was struggling in the 1990s to fix a range of design flaws in its own 486 motherboard prototypes. Asustek was able to fix it, and in fact already had a fully operational motherboard for the chipset before Intel did. Since then, the companies have been very close. My company went through that and survived. We built tons of PCs. And everyone of them had an ASUS motherboard and an Intel processor.
Wonderful, reliable products.

As someone who builds their own computers I can tell you that Asus system boards are some of the best boards I have ever worked with. They are very reliable and come with great utilities.
Although I own a licensed copy of Vista Ultimate I still run Windows XP since well...it just works...

I was just wondering where the $299 price came from. Amazon doesn’t have the $299 models. Reviews at Amazon (for all models they sell) are either 4 or 5 stars.

I have an Asrock 939 Dual motherboard. It has an AGP and a PCI Express slot for video. Sweet board.

I have a friend who had an Asus notebook...old one...bought in 2000. He was still getting parts for it and able to get it serviced after 5 years (in Hong Kong), at which time he bought another Asus notebook.

I have used ASUS motherboards for years and would NOT use anything else. I have read all the reviews and I have NEVER had any problem with any of my Homebuilt PC’s. Just built my Son a ‘Striker Extreme’ system that he is running maxed out setting on all the latest ‘vidiot’ games. I have NOT seen this new laptop, but trust ASUS above all others. I will knock their Customer Support, however I think that it’s very strong possibility ‘Customer Support’ is a term of the past everywhere!!! They do have a great Forum page where I find all my information anyway.
