There is much that I like about this job...
They have the four hour shifts I spoke of. They get a last minute fill-in nurse and I get a quick $100.
It’s close by...takes me eight minutes to get there.
They offer 3-11 shifts. Agency pays more but I have to work 12 hour night shifts.
I can schedule in advance. With agency, it’s usually hit or miss last minute assignments. With the hospital, although I might be cancelled at the last minute, it’s unlikely.
So it’s a win/win situation for both of us but they need to mind their manners. You can’t run a hospital without nurses.
I'm glad you're liking your new job!
I thought about you the other day when we had a med-flight helicopter go down while doing a search for a lost hunter. Kinda morbid I know, but I just remember thinking "Dang, and 2J wants to do that!". I know that's one of your dreams, but I was kinda glad that you weren't doing it at that moment. Although I know that it was just a freak accident, and probably a whole lot less likely to happen than a lot of other things, an unreasonable part of me just has to worry about people I know.
Ain't THAT the truth!
