Praise God! Just got back from the Cardiologist, and my heart is back to normal! He said the Echo was great, and that there is no heart damage. He was thrilled for me! I have to stay on the BP meds, Avapro and Carvedilol, until December, because that's the protocol, but he took me off the diuretic, and the Digoxin! WooHoo!

Unfortunately the Avapro is the ONE med that is not on the $4 program, but it's worth the $60 a month to keep my heart nice and strong, then I can go off it in December, unless he lets me cut it in half later in the year. Even if I have to stay on to Dec., I don't mind, because they are at very low doses, anyway, and the cough that was lingering from the lisinopril is almost gone. I only have one or two episodes each day, and they are about half as strong as they were.

Wonderful news, SuziQ!! Does that mean you can go back to eating normally, and your liquid restrictions are lifted?

That’s just wonderful, Suzi! I had a good feeling about it and figured this would be the outcome.
