I didn’t. It was down-pouring off and on last night, and I didn’t relish the idea of trying to find one apartment in an unfamiliar area in those conditions. :-\ I’m not a great night driver in any case.

I’m going to call later and see if it’s still available - I told them not to hold it on my account, since that didn’t seem fair.

I guess I could also check Goodwill tomorrow...though often their prices on furniture really aren’t that wonderful of a deal. Still, you never know!

And sometimes they have super cool things like those little folding corner shelves I picked up. I love those things! Remember them?

Well then I don't blame you for not getting out in those conditions. Good luck at the Good Will though.

And earlier you were talking about getting a little convection oven. Well, I have one, and granted, it was a pretty cheap one, but it's not the most even cooking thing I've ever seen. I've tried cooking muffins in it and the ones on the side nearest the fan tend to get browner than the other ones. And you definitely have to adjust your cooking temperature down or things will burn on the top and still be raw in the middle. So I cook things at a lower temperature for longer, which to me kinda defeats the purpose. Also, the knobs cracked and broke off after just a few months and I had to scavenge some new ones off of some other old appliance. But it's little and it wasn't real expensive, so there's that. I think mine is a Euro Pro, so I think I'll go with a different brand next time. I'm leaning towards one with a rotisserie, but with my luck it'll turn out to be a piece of crap too.
