So my little brother is graduating basic training April 10 (Thurday) at Ft Leonard Wood. We’re driving down and we’re debating making a weekend of it and visit KC perhaps. Any interest in a couple quick meals on the 11th/12th? G’nad, any suggestion where would be a good local place to take the brother for a congratulatory meal? He’s got almost a whole day of liberty before going for his advanced training :)
300WM, any chance on getting a Hobbit Hole knife for him?
KC people: what’s cheap and fun at this time of year in KC?
Our travel plan, for those interested, is to spend Thursday with the bother, then perhaps Friday and Saturday in the area doing something cool to make the trip worthwhile.
Personal foul for implying that bother's graduation is not cool nor does not "make the trip worthwhile."
15-yard penalty. Loss of down.
Absolutely. At least a pocket knife, plus a sheath knife if he's in an appropriate MOS. What branch is he going into?
Well we could always go storm chasing....
As long as yer buyin'...
There's an excellent German Restaurant in St. Robert, and a real good B-B-Q joint... yuh have tuh drive past the noodie bar tuh get tuh the B-B-Q joint tho... but I bet yer brother has already been there... the noodie bar I mean...
We're 55 mile from FLW, we'll be there if'n you want to meet, or you can stay at theRidge...
Evening Jen - LSA stopped by the comix book shop “Pulp Fiction” yesterday and asked the clerk about comic books and anmie things coming up in KC. He said that there was a convention this coming weekend but nothing next weekend.
