Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
No kidding. It will be nice to get it back though.
We’re good... mrsnad and thekidz are up north goin’ tuh Adventureland with grandparents and cousins...
the front rolled thru at 0600 w/70-80mph winds... lasted about 20 minutes... when I left, all was peaceful and calm on theRidge... heck, there was even a hen turkey feedin’ below the house...
Very good - glad you checked in. :~)
Dang...no, didn’t hear about it!
And I was just thinkin’ if I checked my mail tonight and I had the gubmint check, I should go to that bank to deposit since it’s the closest branch. Maybe not...
We have such sweet and gentle little hippie protesters, don’t we?
No - I hadn’t heard about it. Olympia City council seems to be still filling it’s time in useful endeavors. ~rolls eyes~
The anarchist types and the hippy types are an interesting dynamic when they all get in one place. I’m not sure I get it.
The flash-forwards are getting to be more interesting than the regular plot!
"Witness Tom Beehrle of Olympia said one of the protesters spit and kicked at his Corvette, calling it a big gas guzzler.I would have done something, but he had a couple hundred little buddies of his with him, Beehrle said."
From the other article on the subject. Cute when they're young, aren't they?
Good...good...
Well, my friend...the doctor just called and they took me OFF one of my blood pressure medications completely and reduced the dosage of another! I’m thrilled as can be...actually did a bit of a shimmy when I got off the phone. (My shimmy has been very much reduced of late due to weakness related to having my blood pressure literally chopped in half.)
Huh...I just checked my bank account, and it’s already in there! I thought it was coming as a check. And I thought I was gonna get three hundred.
Not a bad deal. I guess I won’t complain...
Even if it’s already owed. And even if it was really my money to begin with. :-\
Ain’t that the truth!
Anybody a part of this situation?

I was contacted a while back and was told I was one of the people who’s info was sold...I’ve never had any problems though as far as I can tell.
Not that I know of.
Not that I know of.
I did get a warning that I might have been affected by that stolen Air Force identity info a year or so ago, though...
Nothin’s safe anymore. ;-)
We won’t be getting the full amount back either, but I won’t complain. Not sure when ours is coming... I heard not till July, since we mail our checks in, not direct deposit.
Got a card today asking if I want opt in to a class-action lawsuit.
Nope, but I just discovered my Debit card has been compromised. I should have caught it sooner, but I don’t always catch all of the transactions the Mrs. makes while traveling.
A “company” called “Savings2Go” has been taking $11.95 out of my account for several months now. Apparently their method is to take out small amounts and hope you won’t notice.
The good news is that my credit union will file the necessary dispute paperwork. The bad news is that they can’t credit my account until I cancel and replace the debit card, which takes about a week.
I think the lawsuit settlement might not be a bad thing. It’s not concerning money but liability in case of identity theft...
I think this might be it...

Ugh...that stinks. :-\
If it makes you feel better, someone apparently stole my boss’ card number about a week ago. Fortunately the first thing they did was to try to buy a bunch of stuff from Apple, having it shipped to a CA address...and Apple contacted him to ask him to confirm. Could have been worse, but it’s a nuisance.
Hair’s cross-dressing lingerie order was the weirdest thing I ever heard...
