The Hobbit Hole XXXV - ...is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

Posted on 01/03/2008 6:35:58 PM PST by HairOfTheDog

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!

O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.

O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Evening Rose - Although I’ve seen that product for sale and listed in catalogs, I can honestly say I can’t recall the name of the product. Seems right handy though. Perhaps we should ping Winmag, G’nad and Talon?

Evening 2J - Hope all goes well with Meds and your full shift. You look very professional. Having a nurse in the Hobbit Hole is a very good thing.

Girl, you gotta stop futzing with your meds!!

That's a hoot about your pen; I'm sure those nurses got a real kick out of that! And you treated that nasty nurse just right; by ignoring her. I'm sure she was hacked big time, but that's the point, right? ;o)

Your uniform is snazzy! Do they require that the nurses wear scrubs with the hospital logo? I saw all manner of prints and designs on scrubs when I was in the hospital. They HAVE to be so much more comfortable than the old nurses uniforms with the dresses and hose, etc.

Thanks for all your prayers for SirKit’s brother, Robert. He came through the surgery fine, and is now at home. He’s still quite weak and still has a lot of discomfort. Turns out, he did have a full on heart attack, and that’s why he ended up in the ER. My s-i-l asks for continued prayers, because this is going to require a BIG change of lifestyle for him. He’s used to eating what he likes, drinking Pepsi all day long, and not exercising that much, except riding around a golf course every other week or so. He’ll have to start walking it, now!

I'm not sure what the "product" you refer to is, so a picture might be handy.

Yep, but we could use a doctor. Specially one that is single and from a nice Catholic family.

I'm just sayin'...

Yup, that’s it. Not exactly as I remembered it, but a picture is worth a thousand words. Thanks.

We think pizza sounds good! Hold on a minute though, I want to get the kittens in before Cisco comes. With the possum sightings, I don’t want to risk them being out after dark and under the house.
