The Hobbit Hole XXXV - ...is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
Posted on 01/03/2008 6:35:58 PM PST by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Very cute - the only thing missing is that she doesn’t go cross-eyed when you put the cursor on her nose... other than that, she’s just like my Natasha. Heh.

So, this Saturday, if the van doesn't sell, you're driving it to Bellevue to test-drive a Fit, right?
And if the van does sell, you're renting a car to drive up there. Maybe even renting an Elantra, right?

Well, I’m back from the ophthamologist.
Blurry vision could be caused by Central Serous Chorioretinopathy.
Or I could’ve had a stroke in my eye.
They’re going to do a Fluorescein angiogram on April 7th.

Good morning 2J and take care...
I don’t know the significance of those options, but I sure hope it gets cleared up.
To: Corin Stormhands
Well, if that’s what it is...and I’ve suspected it all along because of the sudden onset...then I will count my blessings.
Blurry vision I can live with.
:-)
I don’t know if I mentioned it, but I woke up a few weeks back and didn’t know where I was in my room. Couldn’t get my bearings. That’s when I believe it hit. Sometime while I was asleep.

Yeah, it’s sufficient to say I gots blurry vision in my right eye, probably related to the high bp. Something had to give and I’m lucky this was it. Something giving in my brain, heart or kidneys woulda been a lot worse.
They’re still checking my kidneys. I go back in for more lab work in the morning.
