I have wondered about that too. Not sure.

Yeah, useless for cup holders so it would only live at home or work.
My drive is so short I don’t have time for a cup anyway.
The uber-thermalmug-of-doom is leak proof; the lid seals with an o-ring gasket. But I don’t think I have seen any others that would not leak when inverted. The mug of doom is an actual Thermos. It even came with a D-ring attachment to hang it from a belt or strap while hiking. Maybe if I put that Japanese hot pot on the lowest setting it could fill it up with drinkable temp liquid and I could actually use it.

*sigh*

I’ve learned not to venture onto most threads about states. Every state (even the bluest of the blue) has good people and good qualities, but there’s no telling some people that. And even the best of states are gonna have a few idiots. Not the fault of the rest of the state, necessarily.

But it’s easy to bash “those people,” whomever “those people” may be for a particular thread. It’s what FReepers do best.

If I designed keyboards they would have a little drain and be dishwasher safe.

Yup. Had to smack a few people taking about Iowa on threads after the vote.

I just get annoyed a people who don’t live here and aren’t on the ground level here telling me how we’re a lost cause.
Most of whom are “experts” from blue states who haven’t voted for a Republican since Lincoln.

Well, I didn’t want to make my honey feel worse ;~)

Actually, it wasn’t the keyboard that got drowned, it was the wireless mouse. But since all the letters were worn off my keyboard anyway, and I was the only one who could type on it, we replaced them both...

I could spend all day trying to get people to stop insulting my state... but then, if I won, they’d probably just want to live here, and who wants that? :~)

Hey, I’ve been biting my tongue over “stupid fat Iowa voters who only care about ethanol” cracks for weeks now.

This is one reason I’m basically just skimming the NH threads. I’m almost as much from there as from VT (we lived right on the border, shopped in NH, went to play music in NH, etc., etc.), and it’s hard not to take some of the slams personally.

Thanks for the tip - although I don’t know the ‘cap..’ word means, it is very sensitive to the touch. THere is also the ‘pencil eraser kinda thing in the center of the key board which I recall using a couple times before. I prefer a mouse but this’ll work.
