The Hobbit Hole XXXV - ...is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

Posted on 01/03/2008 6:35:58 PM PST by HairOfTheDog

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!

O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.

O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Yup!! Going to celebrate by ordering in. Phooey on the diet. It was ruined today already by the intern girls (tho there is one guy in that group) - they bought me a little cake from Walmart. They’re all size-2 twenty-sumptins’... so I served them big pieces of cake. :) They’re such sweethearts.

But what happens if, after wrapping up the delegates, something horrible comes out about Obama this summer, before the convention? Something so bad that he can't recover from it?

That "something" can only come from the Clinton Crime Cartel, no matter how it's "laundered". My own guess is the Clintons will make sure no other DemocRAT has the possibility of winning. They don't want anybody removing their shadow government of all the stay-behind clintonistas entrenched in the government and media. The pubbies have made it clear they won't touch their agents. It would be a different matter with another RAT.

Personally, I'd like to see some action in the streets, like the 1968 convention. Stalinists vs moonbats. I'd even skip the popcorn, and go straight to chips and dips.

Cute picture, but why would anyone want to stuff a trombone into a cat carrier with the cat already in it?

Heh...my cats used to *love* it when I was having folks over once a week to play music. Open instrument cases *everywhere*. Woo-hoo! Not to mention lots of folks to pay attention to ‘em.

Tam preferred the banjo case above all others. Go figger.

Oh, there're be action in the streets, Brother WinMag. All the strum und drang of 1968, culminating in the party split of 1948 ... a ticking bomb of a cherry atop the vile sundae of Democrat politics.

And, I tell you, Hillary!'s race politics are making me mad, and I wouldn't vote for Obama for dogcatcher. First it was Shaheen's "drug dealer" insinuations, and now some race-baiting, Soros-funded Margaret Sanger wannabe is calling Obama "that neighboring boy."

Does she want to chase away her Southern base? When she gets off the plane in SC, the only sounds will be crickets ...!

Next, I expect, we will be regaled with the pictures of Hillary!'s aides in blackface on MLK Day ...

I make a mean spinach dip ... and, heck, I'll even spring for hors d'oeuvres!
