Is it just me, or is the zoo trying to divert attention from the fact they built a tiger enclosure that a tiger could escape from?

No, it’s not just you. The enclosure was inadequate to contain a tiger, regardless of the action of the guests.

No the enclosure height is within the guidelines. Some want it HIGHER but the height it is now is okay.

I think that is certainly something they’re thinking about but if this report is true it would have a effect on any judgment those two would seek. Justifiably so.

Grasping at any straw to lower the amount of the check.

I was thinking that myself, though I don’t excuse taunting a caged animal.

Hmmmm... good observation. Maybe the police should also examine items for signs the tiger was a tiger.

The zoo has been pumping out disinformation from day one, with their fudging over the height of the enclosure. Everything seems designed to baffle and manipulate public opinion in anticipation of a lawsuit.

Nope. The City is using City resources to cover a case of possible negligence.

The tigers and the enclosure have been there for many years without incident. If these guys had left the animal alone, this wouldn't have happened.

This was a mistake of judgment for sure. The other mistake was the judgment of these boys in abusing a wild animal; they thought, was a helpless target. Do not think the zoo is trying to divert attention here; just trying to get some perspective on the how/what and as importantly, 'why' this happened.

And with shark lawyer Mark Garragos(sp) out there, ratcheting up the survivors 'defense'; probably feels a bit compelled to do same.

Notice that these boys are not stepping up to plate to explain what happened either. Avoiding 'self-incrimination. . .as is their Right, of course.

Why don't I hear Geragross and the two brothers complaining about the tiger being able to get out of the cage? All I have read so far are complaints by them about the response of the security team of the zoo and the guy who worked in the cafe that would not let them in. Maybe it’s because they damn well knew how the tiger got out and don’t want to open that can of worms.

I am not so sure about the tiger being able to just leap out of its enclosure. I think it may have had some help if you know what I mean, even if by accident via stupidity. I don’t see anybody admitting to anything any time soon considering a person was killed.

I don’t know, I smell something extremely fishy here!

Is it just me?
