For President, Sen. Fred D.Thompson

We hear every four years that "this election is a critical election". However, this year it is really critical. Compared with the democratic field, the republican field has produced by far the most qualified individuals to be President.

America this year can chose between two distinct paths; American Federalism or European Socialism. The only viable candidate in this election that has promised to continued this Reaganesque tradition is Sen. Fred D. Thompson.

Sen Thompson may not have the executive experience as a Gov Romney, Gov Huckabee, or Mayor Guiliani, but Sen. Thompson understands the true nature of the American political system. He also understands that more government is not the solution and that any one who holds the office of the Presidency of the United States must do so with full conviction and confidence as a conservative.

Being a conservative does not mean adopting conservative religious views, or talking like a conservative, and practicing liberal politics, but instead understanding the limits that are placed on the federal government by respecting those individuals rights that are guaranteed by the Constitution and using those rightful powers of the federal government and the Presidency to run the Executive branch, and by appointing judges to the federal bench that would be truthful to the constitution.

Sen. Thompson realizes the dangers of the Islamic threat from abroad and the need to secure our borders from illegal immigration and is not afraid to face it head on.

He understands the free market, and is not afraid to preach the values of hard work and honest investment. Although we are all sinners, Sen. Thompson has the moral credentials to serve as Commander-in-chief of our Armed Forces.

The Choice could not be clearer; A man who understands clarity of the constitution and a man who is willing to do what is needed to protect this country in the face of Islamic extremist.

For President Sen. Fred D. Thompson.

What do you propose we do though?

Fred is the best IDEAS man in this race, bar none. Not to mention others have seen him and he looked much better, I’d venture to say he has bad and good days like all of us.

Tanc’s out and Hunter is polling far worse than Fred.

I will support the GOP nominee, with varying degrees of enthusiasm as I’ve said. But I see nobody besides Fred who speaks for me.

Realistically?

OK...

History repeats... this is 1976 or 1964 and we won’t have a winner.

But those IDEAS you spoke of.... Ideas and then a hard loss that makes 2006 look easy will be what is needed to JOLT this dead party back to life.

They all suck for 2008...

Vote your conscience and focus on the Congress in 2010... Hillary’s mid-term and we MAY have another 1994...

Maybe...

That’s the best I got until the numbers are official in less than 30 hours...

But I fully expect one hella BIG shocker ... it is when the dust settles that we can talk about what it means...

PAX!

No harm. No foul.

I don’t take any of this stuff personally.

Even the most liberal among us, truly believe they are doing what is right for America.

This is a great country and an exciting process that begins tomorrow.
I feel so privileged to be an American.
I have never followed the primary process this closely.
I never even knew what a Super Tuesday was until now.
I am looking forward to all of it.

Even though you and others are disenchanted with our field of candidates, don’t you get a little bit excited at a time like this?

:-)

I am doubtful that will happen, but even if it does, Mitt's still in the game. I can vote for any Republican nominee without too much trouble save one, but am hoping we won't have to cross that bridge.

While I have spent a good deal of time defending my candidate, I've spent very little attacking the others, or pressuring others to vote for mine by attacking them, which was the reason for my original comment. : )
