What a whiner and crybaby old man is Don Shula. I mean really Don, get over it.
No matter how good the Patriots do in 2007-2008 it doesnt effect how good you were. You are still as good as you were before the "perfect season" of the Pats.
You are embarassing yourself and football generally by your whining about spygate, etc.
PS: If your best team ever played the 2007 Pats, you would lose by 50-3. At least.
I’ll guess Miami.
yup. 21-0.
Judging by the diet commercials I'm seeing with Schula, I'm betting he's hungry.
That was my thought. I heard that quote last night and unless something changed since then, he was a right-on congratulatory person.
Which is probably good.
If I’m not mistaken, it was Shula who stepped up to tell us all what fine young man Michael Vick is. Enough said.
True that.
C’mon, let go of it already and just celebrate the Pat’s amazing perfect season! Shula’s comments were in the past. I saw no whining in his statement he made last night.
Dude, show some respect! He lost a lot of weight on Nutri-system!
Are you having a conversation with yourself - or is there a link?
You realize, of course, that you would then suffer several years of patriots arrogance.
Hey, at least they would be new faces.
Bless yourself for not being privy to the “How could you wear glasses without ears” discussion, or the on-going (for over a decade) debate about if a head-first dive gets you to first base quicker (in baseball; not with a babe).
How many games have the Patriots won since their last loss? How many did the Dolphins win in a row? What thew NFL record for consecutive wins?
16 and counting.
The Patriots and the Dolphins both lost in the playoffs the season previous to their "perfect" regular seasons so each "perfect regular season" started the clock at zero consecutive wins.
How many did the Dolphins win in a row?
18.
The Dolphins lost the second game of the 1973 season to the Oakland Raiders.
What the NFL record for consecutive wins?
21 games won by the New England Patriots from October 5, 2003 through October 24, 2004 which included winning Super Bowl XXXVIII.
Yes, I have missed those interesting topics. When I get a little impaired at home, I lecture my husband on economics.
Thanx for doing the homework.
