My own doctor told me I had a very low level of D and proscribed 50 mgs. to be taken weekly.

She claims that western societies who have the emphasis on skin cancer and over use of sunscreens has brought about much of the problem.

She told me NOT to use any moisturizer or makeup with sunscreen in it and to attempt to be outside at least 30 minutes each and every day, even in winter as the sun is closer, so I could soak up the "best and least expensive source."

The medical establishment has vastly, vastly overplayed and overstated the toxicity of Vitamin D.

And they have vastly understated it’s importance in human health.

They say that the RDA is 400IUs. Yet if you go to a doctor, as you have, and gotten Vitamin D prescription pills, they are FIFTY THOUSAND ius each!

If vitamin D was so bad, the streets would be lined with dead mailmen.

I take 3-5 thousand units a day.

Spend money on a nonexistent problem and create another problem to spend money on.

Ain't life grand?
