The father of Jamie Lynn Spears baby is NOT boyfriend Casey Aldridge, according to shocking reports from the U.S.
News that Britney’s sister was pregnant at 16 - under the legal age for sex in the U.S. - forced 18-year-old Casey into hiding.
But now Star magazine insists that the teenager may not be the dad - and that Spears’ friends and family think it is an older man who would face statutory rape charges.

Personally, I don’t think either Celine or Shania are great singers. Loud, yes. Show boaters,yes....but nothing special or noticeable about their voices. IOW, without having made a power hook up, would we have ever heard of them?
Would they have been super-stars? Or just girls who sing pretty OK?
Shania sounds just like several other C&W singers (like I thought “My Give-a-damns Busted” was her’s for the longest, that’s how un-unique her voice is). And most of her ‘show’ is well, “I’m such a hottie, don’t worry if I have a pretty voice.”
And Celine? SNL did the best spoof on her erm, over-emoting even basic conversations. If she actually had to purely 'sing' a song without volume and only on voice, she couldn't do it.
And I mispelled Mariah Carey (sorry).

Wow, this should make the Linda Ellerbee “educational” show on Nickelodeon a real hoot.
Perhaps she can lure the real father to the show and unmask him at the end to be led off in cuffs ala Dateline.
The Spears are a joke and are going to find themselves back in the trailerpark for real.

Some states have some laws that “allow” you to have sex with younger people as long as it is 3 years max...at least I have heard that somewhere.
I don’t know about these singers, but then again I’m still recovering from the attack of the vapours I had thinking of Daisy Duke in a habit....

Charging an 18 year old with stat rape of a 16 year old is insane. These charges are designed for hebephiles taking advantage of teenagers, not teenagers having sex with their girlfriends.
Hell, a 16 year old girl is likely more emotionally mature and in a better position to make these kinds of decisions than an 18 year old boy.

You ain't kidding. These laws have fallen into disuse so as to be without effect. You can't single out one person who happens to be famous and attempt to suddenly enforce such a law.

Like I said, it’s insane to prosecute an 18 year old for having sex with his own bloody girlfriend. If the girl is 13 or 14, then you’ve got yourself a very questionable scenario, but when the age difference amounts to a grade and a matter of months, the proper name for the offence should be ‘had sex’.
