Thanks. Alot of Freepers seem to think that I have a rather odd world view. Since Mencken's Weltenschang (a word he would have understood) tracks mine, I think we need to see more of his works linked/promoted on this site.

But, since its not "all about me", I think that everyone here should read Mencken for their own sake. Love him or hate him, he truly was an American original, who was not above making light of the deficiencies of the so-called elite, or the unwashed masses.
