Dave Barry For President (Q&A Forum)

Dave Barry is running for president (yes, of the United States). He is currently leading every single poll by a wide margin, although you will read nothing about this in the so-called “mainstream” media. You can, however, find out where Dave stands on the issues by reading this Q&A, which consists of Q’s submitted by actual humans (we think) followed by Dave’s answers.

You can also visit his official Web site. Or, you can do something productive with your life. But we don't recommend this.

Some sample questions he has answered:

Q Dave, there's a museum in Kentucky that claims people lived with dinosaurs. After you are elected to be the President of the United States, what will you do to this museum?
Bob C, Margate, Florida 12/19/07

A It's true! One of those people was Sen. Robert Byrd. Dave Barry 12/20/07

Q Dave, Seriously, what would you do if Helen Thomas hit on you?
In the Heart of Texas, Temple, TX 11/28/07

A I would decline politely, followed by tasering.

After reading some of his Q&A, I’d vote for him ahead of any Democrat running. Or Ron Paul, for that matter.

My favorite so far:
Q: Dave, It's a travesty! Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, and Washington, D.C. continue to be taxed without elected officials in Congress. What do you propose to do about it?
Tea Party King, Boston Harbor, MA 12/04/07

A: I propose to add Italy, France, Brazil, Germany and Japan to that list.
