Whatever. Thanks for proving irrefutably that you’re a complete jerk. Have a nice life sometime.

I’m frankly amazed at the level of disrespect being shown by some posters towards him. All he’s done is win multiple Super Bowls, and rebuilt several languishing teams in both Conferences.

Parcells won two Super Bowls, both with Bill Belichick as his defensive coordinator. Belichick eventually left Parcells and won three Super Bowls on his own while Parcells never won a Super Bowl again.

Parcells other trip to the Super Bowl (also with Bill Belichick running his defense) ended in disaster because Parcells was too busy negotiating with the Jets for a HC position there to bother getting his team ready for the game . After his team got blown out by the Packers in the Super Bowl, Parcells was on a private plane to New York before the stadium even emptied out.

Parcells stint with the Jets was disastrous and the team hasn't recovered since. The only good thing to happen out of that gig was that Bill Belichick finally got himself out of Parcells' shadow and took a coaching job with the Patriots, who were floundering - so much for Parcells "rebuilding" teams. Belichick proceeded to rebuild the Patriots into the powerhouse of the NFL. Whose looking like the genious now?

After ditching the Jets, Parcells goes to Dallas where his major move is acquiring Drew Bledsoe who was an utter train wreck in Buffalo and who lost his job in New England to Tom Brady. Being that Parcells drafted Bledsoe and was well aware that he was a stiff in the pocket and prone to making bad decisions at the worst times, Parcells takes on Bledsoe anyhow. Not exactly a gridiron genius.

The Cowboys under Parcells were mediocre at best. Parcells only good move was finally admitting he made a mistake with Bledsoe and putting in Romo. Then he quit on that team too.

In between his various coaching gigs, Parcells would make handshake agreements with other teams (i.e. Tampa Bay, Atlanta) only to renege at last minute.

Basically take away Bill Belichick and Parcells has very little on his resume to be proud of.

‘Whatever. Thanks for proving irrefutably that you’re a complete jerk. Have a nice life sometime.’

This explains how you conclude Parcells is ‘scum’, kid.

Grow up, its only football.

(chuckle)

The Jets have been basically a ‘disaster’ for decades. Blaming Parcells for it is ridiculous.

but not a big deal, there are some rabid Parcell haters in the forum. I find it amusing.

Wow you come back days later for that mighty piece of stupidity?! How incredibly pathetic.

It’s not about the football, it’s about bad people. Regardless of their bad people should be disliked.

I did let it go. You’re the one that came back 5 days later.

You said 5 days ago you didn’t actually bother to read the entirety of posts, now you’re claiming to actually read them.

None of which change the fact that Parcells, regardless of his job title, is scum.

Now why don’t YOU let it go, kid.
