Wie, who has played in the PGA Tour event at the Waialae Country Club in Honolulu every year since 2004, did not receive one of the four sponsor exemptions...

she wasn't ready for professional golf.

Two of the Sony Open sponsor exemptions will still go to Hawaii teenagers.

Michelle Wie was not and is still not even ready for the LPGA and has no business trying to compete with the men at this stage in her career.

Agreed, she has talent but was pushed for her media value.
