The option is hard to defend against. I’ve been thinking this is Navy’s year, but so far they’ve not been able to post many points.

It’s hard to defend for us because the Ute defense is designed to be a gap control defense. Option attacks create an extra gap that it harder for us to defend. This happens a lot whenever the Utes play Air Force, who is in our conference.

But Utah is lining up 7-8 defenders in the box and so far, they’ve done a good job of limiting Navy.
