I think at a minimum, UGa should be playing USC as those are the two teams who finished the strongest. Then if LSU plays ugly and wins a close one, it sets up another possible split title (as you had for the 2003 season) if UGa beats SC.
My preferred outcome is that the Buckeyes just take care of business and win - I don’t want to take anything away from a talented LSU team. I just want to see Les Miles eat some well deserved humble pie.
So you’d have TWO 2-loss teams playing for the title? Ohio State and Oklahoma be danged, huh? Interesting.
Though I’m not a big Les Miles fan, I hate (H-A-T-E) the Big 10 (Really, I guess I only hate OSU and Michigan, but they’re the main representatives), so I’m rooting for LSU in this one.
