It's the most wonderful time of the year...With my Utes winning bowl games and BYU losing so I'll be of good cheer...it's the most wonderful time of the year...
--Ow! Tomatoes hurt you know. Sheesh...
During the regular season, I would normally do my fancy and mildly humorous graphical elements and those of you who would like me to feature their school's games, I would oblige. However, since we've got miles to go before we sleep, I'll re-ping the list as we go along and include said graphics. Sound like a deal? Excellent.
Tomorrow the fun will begin. (For me, at least). :)
Would not suprise me since a lot of the incoming freshmen have more likely watched this past fall’s season wild and crazy going ons and they want to “get into the action” bigtime. :)
...Also before I forget, incoming transfers from the junior and community colleges. :)
Holy cow I had no idea that Graham Harrell’s brother was the qb for Tulsa!!! Texas Tech will play Tulsa in a preseason game this next year..... that should be fun!
I think after watching all of the bowl games, I am more inclined to be in favor of a playoff system.
I have never really been opposed to one, I want it so that each Championship Sub division team has a legitimate chance participate, rather than 7 teams (USC, Michigan, Texas, FSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Florida/Alabama/LSU) plus Notre Dame every year.
Weren’t we told we could not have because the pros play on Saturday afternoon in late December? How many Saturday games did we have this year in the NFL?
Shouldn't it be the Navistar Bowl instead of the International Bowl?
What's the spread on this one? 50 points?
In any event, it appears that it's time to tune it in.
Is it September yet??
I just turned on this high school Army All American game...
There are three players from my HS in it (Notre Dame - Sherman Oaks CA) which makes me wonder how they pick the participants.
Hawaii’s June Jones reportedly has offer to coach SMU

Current Conference Standings :
Sun Belt 1-0 MWC 4-1 SEC 6-2 Pac 10 4-2 Big 12 5-3 Big East 3-2 Big 10 3-4 WAC 1-3 ACC 2-6 CUSA 1-4 Indies 0-1 MAC 0-2
What is good is now Rutgers is more then just a basketball university. You are right, Rutgers should have gotten a better team, to at least test them, but they did a great job today, a great way to close out the Big East conference football 1-A season. :)
You are right, the Big East has earned its respect over the last few years. Just that this season “confirms it”. Thank-you for the good word. :)
It now looks like the ones who stayed were the smart ones. The Big East has more than shown it is deserving of Elite Conference status while the ACC has actually gone down hill, and was downright dismal in the bowls this year.
And Miami wasn’t even good enough to be in a bowl game, period.
...As a matter of fact, one of the few ACC teams to win a bowl, though unranked was the one that defeated my UConn, Wake Forest. Wake Forest, a small liberal arts college has produced a strong football program. It would not suprise me if it was with Boston College the only two ACC colleges to show up and win the bowls they were in.
Yes. I'll start it when I get up Monday afternoon.
Theres are article in the Atlanta Journal Consitution (aka the fishwraper) about Ironhead Heywards son who is a FR for Ohio State.
The one thing OSU has in its favor is that it has the one offensive player who could dominate this game (Beanie Wells). Dorsey is the one defensive player who could dominate.
Some one pointed out on the radio today that most of OSU’s 0-8 record vs. SEC happeed under Cooper.
