It's the most wonderful time of the year...With my Utes winning bowl games and BYU losing so I'll be of good cheer...it's the most wonderful time of the year...

During the regular season, I would normally do my fancy and mildly humorous graphical elements and those of you who would like me to feature their school's games, I would oblige. However, since we've got miles to go before we sleep, I'll re-ping the list as we go along and include said graphics. Sound like a deal? Excellent.
Tomorrow the fun will begin. (For me, at least). :)
Why didn’t USC {west} play in the Sugar Bowl if they were interested in a real game?
Well, we Okies got to have Toby Keith start us off with our state song ... and a little Gordon MacRae on the follow-up.
Maybe we’ll get *Surrey with the Fringe on Top* or *Oh What a Beautiful Mornin’” at half-time, lol.
We probably will be doing that regardless of whether is another game that measures up to it or not down the road. But other than probably the Capital One Bowl the Gator Bowl yesterday, nothing has really come close to that....yet.

A team goes into the Fiesta Bowl while their head coach departs for parts elsewhere...why does that sound familiar? :-/
I was just reminded that the WVU Mountaineer actually carries a gun. That places him right up with the FSU Seminole in coolness, IMO.

I like the musket too! I wonder how long it will be before someone will complain that it makes them “feel” uncomfortable haveing that rifle at the games.
Actually a little busier than usual, so I’m trying to watch the game out of the corner of my eye.
I’m not sure that WVU gets blown out. Call me crazy but...
A musket wielding Mountaineer would probably only be uncomfortable to those who can’t run that fast. ;)
(But yeah, that musket is cool, even if it fires one round every 4-5 minutes or so)

Wisconsin tried to ban it from Camp Randall a few years ago. After some unwanted publicity they said he could bring it as long as he didn’t shoot it.
Tough to decide if it’s both D’s playing well or the miscues and blown assignments on offense for both teams right now...not to mention the kick and punt coverage on both sides. Ouch.
I tested my jinxing ability to see if it had gone away yet. My Sooners don’t do well when I’m watching - it started about 4 years ago when my own luck started going south.
So, now I find something else to occupy my mind for a while with either the sound muted or just the radio on the Sooner Network (which is sorta cheating).
You see the result of my walkabout I did 15 or so minutes ago. We scored, of course. I’ll stay gone some more now.
Uh...Hart fumbled twice in the red zone and the Gators played horribly??

Yup. They lost, didn’t they? I’ve heard it all day. Florida did not show up for the game. Michigan was all over them. blah blah blah. I do have to say that if Michigan was so great, then why did they only win by 6 points. Florida was off its game. I attribute it to the Heisman curse.
WVU is playing well so far.
