**Ladies and Gentlemen...it's the FR College Football 2007-08 Bowl Games Thread**
Posted on 12/19/2007 1:19:19 PM PST by GOP_Raider
It's the most wonderful time of the year...With my Utes winning bowl games and BYU losing so I'll be of good cheer...it's the most wonderful time of the year...
--Ow! Tomatoes hurt you know. Sheesh...
During the regular season, I would normally do my fancy and mildly humorous graphical elements and those of you who would like me to feature their school's games, I would oblige. However, since we've got miles to go before we sleep, I'll re-ping the list as we go along and include said graphics. Sound like a deal? Excellent.
Tomorrow the fun will begin. (For me, at least). :)

I’m not really a WF fan, just rooting for the ACC. Good luck to your Huskies! Too bad there’s no internet access at the stadium, I could freep during the game!

*Whew* after what our fellow college football pingee rogue yam said was "the most exciting Motor City Bowl ever", can anything top this? How about tonight's...
Pacific Life Holiday Bowl featuring Texas and Arizona State. Tonight at 8:00 pm Eastern on ESPN Regular. Now, if you're watching the Arizona State starting lineups, take a look see at former Sun Devil standout Jake Plummer, who is from the same neck of the woods that I am. Let's just say the man looks like Santa with some Just for Men on his beard.

This particular bowl usually seems to produce a pretty good game.
To: mainepatsfan
That’s one thing I miss about the old WAC was having this bowl tie-in. Unfortunately, the Utes never got the chance to play in the Holiday Bowl, but I guess the Poinsettia Bowl will have to do. :(

I have no love for the U of Texas but just this once, I can cheer for them! Go Big 12!
To: GOP_Raider
Growing up I thought it was BYU’s personal bowl game.

I’ve never been the biggest Dennis Erickson fan in the world, so I in that sense I can see where you’re coming from?
That and ESPN in it’s infinite wisdom is going to have Brent Musberger along side Kirk Herbstreit calling the game.

When they won the WAC something like 18 of 22 seasons, it basically was.

Will Erin be there?
To: mainepatsfan
To paraphrase Rush, “as long as Erin’s there, it doesn’t matter where ‘there’ is.” :)

Why she’s not on the sidelines during MNF is beyond me.
To: mainepatsfan
Yeah, let’s all give ESPN a big round of applause for ruining MNF!
Anyway, Lisa Salters is on the sidelines tonight. Meh...

TD Texas. I have to admit, I’ve had “Texas Fight” stuck in my head a few times. Tough song to get out of your head.
