Or, alternatively, with the Cowboys down by less than a TD, with a QB with an injured thumb on the throwing hand, and plenty of time to run off the clock, “Just hand him the damned ball.”

Seriously, the offense needs to be balanced and both RBs need to prove that they can be relied on when the game is on the line. Both will be free agents in the offseason (Jones UFA, Barber RFA). They need to prove that they’re worth a new contract.

Yeah, Anderson and Garrard deserve some credit thats for sure. I know Hasselbeck has 25 touchdowns and 10 picks and over 3000 yards so far which is pretty dang good. If Favre and Romo weren’t throwing up such unusually high numbers he would battle for starter.

Looks like the All Felon Conference to me.

Defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth, Tennessee (Aggravated Assault)
Shawne Merriman, San Diego (Roider)
Ray Lewis, Baltimore (Murderer)

Wonder how many Baby Daddies are on that roster and how many “No Dad at Home” kids in total there are from that bunch?

Apparently it’s okay for the Minnesota Vikings to horse collar players. There were two Monday night. I am waiting for hand wringers to complain about, but I am not holding my breath.

Which Cowboys don’t deserve to go?

Congratulations to Whitten, Ware and the entire Big D lineup. Well represented.

Seven starters. That hasn't happened since ... what ... '93? '94?

I'm really disappointed that Jason Shockey isn't there

But the NFC East is well represented by Jeremy Whitten. ;-)

LOL.

How great would it be if you could fuse them into a single tight end/pass blocker?

Eli Manning pisses me off though, seriously.

I know he's not as bad as Phillip Rivers, but that trade still rankles.

Whenever the camera zooms in on him before the snap you see that dear in the headlights look that drives me absolutely insane.

It's almost as if he's Mork, and is seeing a football for the first time in his life.

Not to be too punctilious, but I actually think it was obstruction of justice in the investigation of a murder.

I don't think Ray Lewis actually murdered anyone, a la Ray Carruth.

In North Carolina, he could have been with “concert of action” homicide.

I suppose that's true.

I don't remember where the actual attack took place in Lewis's case.

I know a lot of people try to portray him as a reformed man, which might be true.

However, the idea of giving an Super Bowl MVP to someone who was just involved, even indirectly, in someone else's death still upsets me.

I'm amazed that Pacman Jones got off so easy simply by coughing up some evidence implicating others in the LV shooting.
