Two 18-year-olds were taken into custody over the weekend in connection with the shooting death of a Little Debbie delivery man earlier in the week, according to police.
Investigators said Gary Vaughn, 51, was fatally shot Tuesday while wheeling a load of the snack cakes in the parking lot of Al's Food Store located on Parramore Avenue.
Police said they arrested Oliver Lewis at a Lynx bus terminal in downtown Orlando and Tremele Fields at a home in connection with the shooting death.
Investigators did not say which of the men fired the shots or if both used guns in the robbery, Local 6 reported.
Both Lewis and Fields face first-degree murder and armed robbery charges.
Weird. Just a couple of days before, there was a murder over a Honey Bun snack.

No picture of the victim. How interesting. An earlier article says two black males were suspects. I wonder if this was another “not a hate crime!” scenario.
In any case how vile this is. Poor working stiff just trying to do his job ends up dead. Probably no wonder the scumbags feel emboldened to commit these crimes though when we hear everyday about guys getting slapped on the wrist for serious violent crimes.

Brad found another story with a photo of the victim. Killed for no other reason except that these killers are savages.
I’d like to see the local SWAT team start running stings in this ‘hood. They could use mock-up delivery vans with gun ports and shooters.

Nowhere have I read that they actually took any money. They were to be charged with robbery. How much money do these guys even carry? Were these thieves just stupid, or perhaps they like to kill just for the thrill of it.
I have sometimes thought delivery people, UPS and those folks especially, must be targets and maybe they are better off going in teams. UPS guys usually drive with the door to their vehicle wide open in warm weather. Just doesn’t seem safe.
