“Your truck still uses a carburetor?”

Yeah. It’s a 78 chevy pickup.

Got the carb on but now the gas lines are frozen.

Problem is, there’s no way I can put it in the garage to thaw because it’s out in the middle of the field and I have nothing to tow it with.

Guess I’ll have to run new lines and try again tomorrow.

Put an occasional can of Heet in the tank. Gas line freeze up is caused, as I'm sure you know, by condensation in the gas tank. Heet is just alcohol (Methanol, I think) that will mix with the water and make it combustible. Of course, none of that helps if the gas lines are frozen. As, again, I'm sure you know.

Aren't vehicles fun?
