Is there a standard procedure here for having a private conversation with a moderator?

Question: I used the word @$$hole (only spelled it the proper way,) a while back and was banned for about two days for doing so. Now today and in fact almost every day I see that word and nobody gives a damn. Why?

Be careful Dog. I may push the “report abuse” button on you. I believe that someone did that to me and that is the only reason I was banned. I would like the moderator to explain this to me though, on here or in private.

Had that happen to me recently too.
Didn’t get banned but my comment was removed. It wasn’t even offensive. Just some overly anal FReeper getting excited about a sarcastic joke that wasn’t even directed toward him.
I love these threads.
