That’s not the issue, tactics. The issue is winning. (For me it’s have a true, pro-life conservative win, but that’s a different story.) If Romney gets the nod, I’ll hold him to his pro-life claims.
But, I’ll also expect him to be prepared. He will not be allowed to use the “religious tolerance shield” by the soft-money liberal organizations.
They will attack him. He’d better be prepared.
I say we just sit tight, keep our powder dry, and wait to see what the answer is if the question gets asked.

I, for one, believe that Mitt Romney has always believed in his heart that Abortion is morally wrong and that it is (in nearly all cases) the premeditated murder of an unborn child.
I also believe that his pro-choice position was politically motivated and that he took that position in order to advance his political career.
I believe that he is now advocating his true lifelong beliefs on abortion because those beliefs are currently expedient to FURTHER advance his political career.
But if that is true (I may be wrong, but I don't think so), then what does that say about his character?
