Can we dislike Episcopalians? They seem so snotty to me.
*Can we dislike Episcopalians? They seem so snotty to me.*
I know many conservative Republican Episcopalians.
Heck, Bush attends mass every Sunday at St. Johns Episcopal Church in DC
HEY! I resemble that remark!
Seriously, jveritas isn't saying you have to -like- or -dislike- anybody on the basis of religion.
Only that disparaging a candidate on the basis of their religion is out of place in a Constitutionally-correct (as opposed to politically-correct) forum like FreeRepublic.
I tend to agree with jveritas that criticism on the basis of religion is inappropriate on this forum. But that doesn't mean you have to like 'em. You can hate their guts. You can mock their religion, elsewhere. Even Episcopalians. But IMO, FR should be above that kind of stuff.
Now come on, what someone professes to believe spiritually is, GENERALLY, irrelevant to what they profess politically. My beef with Romney is that he changes his politics with every opportunity. At lest he doesn’t change his religion with every opportunity; and by the way, I’m an Episcopalian (for all the gay-lesbo crap my Church is going through) - and not all snotty. You would like me.

LOL!
We have a right to be snotty...we're rich and you aren't, so therefore you don't matter a witt!
