The incident occurred at the Nuremberg airport on Tuesday, where the 64-year-old man was switching planes on his way home to Dresden from a holiday in Egypt.

What would he have done if he had been transporting a stool sample and they had tried to take it?

A faculty friend of mine once led a Summer in London program. In Heathrow on the way home, he told the students that if they had any pot, they had better get rid of it, because British customs were not tolerant and they would face a jail term.
One of the students was pretty sick on the plane going home. It turned out that he had eaten the pot supply in his pocket, rather than risk getting caught.
