It does not matter if Roethlisberger will be successful against NE. The question for a fantasy player is will Roethlisberger be more successful against NE than Farve is against whomever he is playing.

So I looked it up and it is Oakland. They are better in passing yardage D than NE but it is Oak 5 and NE 6 with a 10.5 yards per game difference.

I think I would take the guy who passes more ie Farve.

Favre is my fantasy QB also. Last week he got ZERO points after being injured but has been pretty good every week.
I would start him if I were you-—

Don’t you think that Favre will hand the ball off to R Grant a lot more than usual, given that Oakland is terrible against the run. Also, Favre is playing injured.

Excellent points, I am not a fantasy player and I forgot Favre was injured. My thoughts were that Pittsburgh would likely beat New England running.

I see it this way:

1. Green Bay is not very good at running so they will pass more.

2. Pittsburgh is likely to beat New England which is coming off a tough Monday night game and lead them much of the game. [You have to think an unbeaten team facing a 9-3 team on a short week is vulnerable.]

Together those sound like Green Bay passes more between the two. But it could be that Pittsburgh will trail the whole game and pass and Oakland is bad enough against the run that Green Bay can protect Favre by running.

Favre

Steelers V Pats. If the game is close, Pittsburgh will win, otherwise Pats in a blowout. Scores 27-23 PIT or 34-13 PATS

Ben should be good for 175 yds 1 or 2 TDs and 1 or 2 INTs.

Favre will probably throw more even if injured.
