I am an Army Brat, born in Yokohama Japan, in an Army Hosp. Mom from Texas and dad from Wisconsin. The person I saw said she did not recognize my document? Asked to see a supervisor and was given an appointment in 3 weeks????

I’d go with stormer’s suggestion and get a referral. Good luck with that. You might try contacting the VA too, but I don’t know if that would help.

"The person I saw said she did not recognize my document? Asked to see a supervisor and was given an appointment in 3 weeks????"You should have a number already right? It should be on the tax returns, pay docs, ect... That info should be in the computer at the SS office. You also have maiden names and other relative's info. They should have had all that in detail, like your gradma's addresses, ect... right in front of them on the screen. Was the doc a birth certificate in Japanese? LOL! Just kidding.

Hey there BellStar;
I clicked on your profile. Anyway, people born in your situation sometimes have problems proving they are US citizens. The “Birth Certificate” sometimes makes the typical low level bureaucrat scratch their heads.
